??? so you are saying that with proper bar ends the bar wouldnt have gone through my leg with the force that it did? as the professionals said, it would have either gone through or broken my femur. the bars did not core and therefore served a purpose

There is a stepdown jump at the bottom of the trail and i didnt have enough speed so i pulled up more. the bike went vertical and I didnt bail out in time. ended up bouncing at the top of the landing and got thrown to the bottom where i landed right on the bars, and they bent 90degrees underneath me too. pretty nasty, but didnt feel it at first, then realised something wasnt quite right! 
Yeah it is indeed, the gear lever prevented it from going any further! and yeah, im glad i was wearing lycra shorts under my riding shorts, otherwise it could of been a close call! - lycra may well be the way forward! :P

hey guys, its me that built it... on my own for a few hours. its no where near finished as it was pishing with rain. havent used this site in ages :P but if anyone is up for helping build. it would be good.

There is a trail that I ride which comes through the stone dyke, has a few berms and rock drops.
Recently someone decided to attempt to put a couple of SHIT berms in above existing berms, and also modified a rut that we had started...by making a loose berm.
Please, if it was you, leave the trail be, as it's spot on as it is. The berms that were made were a pile of shit, and I personally returned the trail to the way it was (last time I was out). I am happy for people to build, but just don't mess up things that are fine the way they are...
Sorry if I sould like a bell, but maybe you should come out riding with us...build together etc.
